Our Aloha and Beaverton dental office uses digital radiography to take pictures of your teeth and oral tissues. This technology replaces traditional x-rays, allowing us to capture images of your tissues with far less radiation and provide them instantaneously on a computer screen right in front of you.
We send the image directly to a computer where we store it with other patient record information. Furthermore, we can email this image to another provider or specialist if necessary.Don’t forget to visit our Facebook!
Less Radiation – Digital technology significantly reduces the amount of radiation needed to make x-ray images compared to traditional film technology.
Environmentally Friendly – Digital x-rays eliminate the need for film development, thus avoiding the disposal of toxic chemicals.
Enhanced Diagnosis – Image-enhancing software improves our ability to identify problem areas, resulting in earlier treatment than before.
Improved Speed – We send digital images directly to a computer, making them immediately available for viewing.
Greater Detail – Digital x-rays show greater detail than those taken with traditional film, and we can enlarge them digitally at the touch of a mouse.
Enhanced Communications – The digital format improves communication with patients, colleagues, and insurance companies.
Computerized Storage – We store x-ray images along with patient records in our computers.
We can evaluate the images immediately with advanced, computer-assisted tools. Additionally, the software magnifies the image, making tooth problems readily apparent and easier to analyze than traditional film x-ray images. Consequently, this new technology enables our doctors to treat problems at a much earlier stage.
